Next weekend (February 21-23, 2019), New York has the chance to hear a bold program including Stravinsky’s Firebird, Ravel’s Alborada del gracioso, and a premiere composed by conductor/composer Matthias Pintscher, who also happens to be conducting this concert. Internationally established French violinist Renaud Capuçon will be the featured soloist in Pintscher’s work mar’eh for Violin and Orchestra. This diverse program is destined to sparkle and impress. The concert will run from February 21-23 at David Geffen Hall in Lincoln Center.
